Arequipa Colca Canyon is located in the valley of a river in southern Peru and is famous for being one of the deepest in the world. It is a famous destination for hiking. It is a habitat of the giant Andean condor, which can be seen from viewpoints such as the Cruz del Cóndor. The canyon landscape encompasses a green valley and traditional remote villages with terraced agriculture that preceded the Incas. The Colca River is popular for rafting.
Pick up tourists from their respective hotel at 02:30 03:30 a.m. located in the historic center by tourist transport, to move to the Colca Canyon, after 3 hours of travel we will stop at the main town of the route; Chivay, place where you buy the tourist ticket, and we will have a contentious breakfast, later we will continue with our tour towards the Cruz del Cóndor, in this place we will enjoy for a time of 40 minutes to 1 hour approx. of the fabulous flight of the Condors and the majesty of the canyon, where we will also know about the stories that surround this enigmatic place.
Then we will board the private transport to return to the Chivay district, making the respective stops, such as:
1.- In the Mirador de Antahuilque where we can appreciate the Inca terraces of the colca and the lagoons of achachiwua.
2.- In the town of Maca where we can appreciate the colonial church of Santa Ana and we can take pictures with domesticated eagles, and camelids, and where we can also acquire handicraft from the colca and try the sour colca; drink made from Sancayo; The fruit of a cactus from the Colca Valley. Continuing with our tour we will arrive at the town of Chivay, the capital of the Colca Valley, then we will go to the thermal medicinal Baths with 38ºC where we can enjoy its relaxing waters for a period of 1 hour (optional), then we will return to Chivay, Lunch at the time previously coordinated with the group. After our lunch we will go to the city of Arequipa making the following stops on the way:
1- Viewpoint of the Andes; Patapampa, where we can appreciate the volcanic chain that the Department of Arequipa custoria.
2- The national reserve where we can appreciate wildlife (vicunas, birds and others) and we can also see domesticated camelids (llamas, alpacas and others). So continuing with our journey we arrived in the city of Arequipa at approximately 5:00 pm.
