Overview
Join us on a four day Manu National Park Peru tour from Cusco to witness the life deep inside the Amazon Jungle with an English speaking local naturalist tour guide.
Manu National Park Peru is located in Madre de Dios province of Cusco. It dominates the vast majority of area in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. Spread in over 1.9 million hectares in Southeastern Peru, Manu Peru is a lowland rainforest. It is home to 6500 Quechua Speaking communities.
Manu National Park Peru also houses over 8000 species of flora, 10 different species of mammals and 400 distinct species of birds.
To make Manu easily accessible, it is divided into three zones. Cultural Zone, Reserved Zone or Biosphere Reserve and Core Zone. Access to the core zone is limited to scientists and researchers. This four day Manu Peru tour takes you to the cultural zone.
Manu Core Zone houses several distinct species of flora and fauna. It is also home to a handful of native communities who earn their livelihood by farming.
In 1987, UNESCO recognized Manu National Park Peru as a world heritage site.
